Animal Abuse is Not a Game

Animals are not meant to be beat or to suffer either. They are here to love us and to be a "loyal friend". Animals can be fun and loveable if you know how to treat them right. Animals that are rescued from being abused can be up for adoption. This will make the animals feel loved and spoiled. Abuse and neglect are preventable so please, if you suspect abuse please notify your local Animal Human Services. If you don't know that number call your local police office or 911, don't try to handle the situation yourself. Help make animals happier and help stop animal abuse.

  1. It seems as if people abuse animals if they don't listen to them right away, they don't patience for the animal. Animals take time and with that time, they will be loyal to you. For dogs, it always seems as if it is the same breed that is portrayed as "mean." Like dobermans (Harley!) and pit bulls.

  2. I am very against animal abuse, so thank you for posting this! I think it is very disgusting how people can abuse animals. In my opinion they don't deserve them. A lot of people complain about the long processes and systems of adopting animals from shelters and use that as an excuse for skipping adoption and buying purebreds from mills instead, but I think that it's completely necessary. The new owner SHOULD be checked out and cleared so that the animals will be safe.
And a personal account...I knew a place that had a hobby horse. Driving by a lot, I noticed how the horse kept getting skinnier and skinnier, living in worse and worse conditions. We called the SPCA and they checked it out and were going to continually report back and make sure conditions were improved but unfortunately, the horse died before their next visit. The horse's death seemed a little sketchy, but definitely unfortunate and upsetting.
